The month of November

It seems we have been extra busy these last couple of months. I know it is now December 1st so I figured I better post a little about November before December gets away from me too. Here are just a few quick pictures of what we have been up to for the last month. Picture 1. Playing a lot with DADDY! Picture above- our house! We drive by every Sunday and walk through it and take at least one picture so this is the picture of it from about a month ago. Yes another picture of the house. This one is from a couple weeks ago. Hopefully we will be moving in the end of January!! Keep your fingers crossed for us. A lot of playing in the fall leaves. A lot more playing with daddy! Ridge enjoying the good weather at the park. A trip to the Phoenix Children's Museum. Ridge taking a rest on the hippo. At the Children's museum they have a ton of pool noodles hanging from the ceiling for the kids to run a much through....So they did! *******For those of you that don't know yet we are expecting baby #3. At the beginning of November we found out its a ........GIRL!! She will be making her debut the first few days in April. We are all so excited. Ultra sound pics. to come.********

San Diego/Sea World (2 months late)

In September we took a much needed family vacation to Sea World. We debated between Sea World and Disney Land for awhile and finally decided on Sea World since Tytan is a Shark fanatic. All he wanted for his B-day were shark sheets and shark toys. The boys were awesome in the car and with only a few potty breaks we made it there in record time. Here are a few of our fav. parts of our San Diego week. Ridge enjoying the best seat in the house...right on top of Tytan's sand castle. Our hotel was right on the water so we could literally walk out of our hotel room onto the sand.
Ridge burying himself under the sand castle.
One of the few pics. I got of Tytan looking at the camera. He is in his stage where he NEVER wants to look at the camera. If I catch him in the right moment I can get a glimpse of his face on camera.
Daddy and Ridge walking the beach.
Ridge is completely fearless. He saw a mom and 5 baby ducks in the water and he would follow them any where. He would walk out into the ocean up to his neck and not have a care in the world.
The boys making a sand castle. One of the many...
The boys driving to Cali. showing off the sun glasses. Tyt insists on putting on his own glasses so they are always a little crooked.
Hard to see but a shark right above his head. Had to post this since it was one of the few showing his face.
Ridge checking out the seals/sea lions.
By far the highlight of the trip for Tyt was the Shark Encounter. I think I lost count how many times we went through and saw the sharks. He can tell you the name of pretty much every shark.
The dolphins were my favorite. They were so friendly they were always right up next to the glass.
Mr. Walrus...Ridge sat next to him for soo long just laughing and laughing. He would eat a fish then spit it out over and over. A little disgusting but he was highly entertained.
The beluga whale
More Dolphins..
The manta rays. Ridge and Tytan sat on that ledge petting these slimy guys forever.
Of course we had to get a picture with Shamu.
More Shamu.. The boys really did so well through the entire vacation. Sometimes staying at a new place and being out of routine can get a little crazy but it was so needed and so fun.
*Our house is coming up pretty fast now so I will be posting a few pics. of the progress soon.

MIDWESTERN GRADUATION

Yes we are all still alive and well. I know it has been waaay to long since my last post. We have been a little busy. We moved from Glendale to Gilbert the beginning of July and I couldn't be happier. We moved in with my parents while we are having a house built. It has been a lot of fun being around so much family all the time. Our new house will be in my sister Melissa's ward. We are sooo excited to be in Gilbert, have a new house, and live so close to so many of my brothers and sisters. It is a little sad that we now live about 45 min. to an hour away from Peter's side of the family. The most exciting thing that happened since I posted last is that Peter is finally and forever done with school. He graduated from Midwestern University with his Doctorate of Pharmacy. I couldn't be more proud of him. Since graduation he passed both of his exams and is now a Pharmacy manager. These pictures are completely out of order but you get the idea. Showing off his diploma with his dad.Peter and I right after graduation. for being June 12th is wasn't too hot. Thank goodness. The second best part of graduating....Throwing away all the papers he no longer has to hold onto. The group right after graduation. Thank you all for coming out to support Pete!! Peter and his bff Phil from school. Receiving his diploma right after graduation. Can he look any happier?Walking out of the auditorium after graduation. Walking into the auditorium. Sorry I know sooo out of order.

Pirates

Tytan and Ridge both have both been blessed with a lazy eye. Tytan's left eye turns out a little when he is looking far away and Ridge's left eye turns in a little when he is looking up close. Very few people have ever noticed it but it is just bad enough where the eye doctor makes us patch the good eye once a day. Tytan has to have the patch on for 2 hours a day and Ridge just for half hour. Tytan absolutely despises the patch so every day I have to come up with a new creative pirate game. We have to pretend we are pirates and of course you can't be a pirate without a pirate patch. I don't know how much longer my little pirate shenanigan is going to last but I cross my fingers every day that today won't be the last. The eye doctor keeps saying that at some point Tytan will need surgery to correct his left eye but for now they just want to make sure his vision is strong in his bad eye. Ridge on the other hand won't ever need surgery. I almost never notice his lazy eye and I actually thought it was gone until the trip to the eye doctor said other wise. Every time I see both boys patched up & ready to play pirates I just have to laugh. Man I love these crazy pirates. *Don't mind the white goo all over Tytan's P.J.s. I had just gotten him dressed when he decided to put lotion on himself/Jammies. *These pics were taken a couple months ago....No I do not still but Ridge in fuzzy footsie Jammies in 100 degree weather.

Easter

This year we headed off to Midwetern University for their annual Easter egg hunt. I didn't get any good shots but I can't complain when it comes to 2 little boys. Maybe it is just me but I always imagined the Easter bunny being male. When I saw this bunny with the purple hat I was a little thrown off. Am I all alone with that or does anyone else think of him as a boy? I actually forgot to take any pictures of our home Easter egg hunt and egg dying. O' well Maybe next year. Getting ready to go egg hunting. My little boy is getting so big. He will be 15 months tomorrow. Tytan waiting patiently. Since it was raining on the day before Easter the hunt was moved into the gym. At Midwestern they also had a few activities the kids could do. Face painting, coloring, and cookie decorating. Peter and I were both blown away that Tytan actually ate most of his cookie after decorating it.

Boyz will be boyz

Tytan is very independent now. every time I try to help him him I immediately get the response "No mom I do it myself". So that is why he decided he needed to wash his own hands in the kitchen sink. He was standing on a stool realized he couldn't reach the faucet knobs so he climbed on top of the counter. Of course after splashing water all over the kitchen the counter was a little wet and slippery. As he is squatting on the edge of the counter he slips and falls backwards. His bottom 2 teeth went through his lip. After A LOT of blood and a few tears all is on the mend. Doesn't that look so nasty and seriously these pictures don't even do it justice.
Ridge's favorite toy in the entire world is our tool bin. We have a small basket of tools that we keep inside the house and of course ever since Ridge spotted that he is in love. He will walk over to the closet where they are kept and will point up and say up, up, up. A.K.A. get me the tools now. And yes I let my 1 year old play with pliers, hammers, and screwdrivers but only sitting down and under constant supervision.
What happens when a 2 year old finds diaper rash cream and his younger brother is in his line of reach? I think we both know the answer. Not the best picture but I think you get the idea.

For Rent

Peter and I are moving to Gilbert after he graduates so we will need to find a renter for our house in Glendale. We need your help to spread the word. I have heard so many horror stories when it comes to crazy renters and I am terrified to get one of those. The house will be available about the middle of July. I know that is about 3 1/2 months away still but I wanted to get the word out there first to friends and family before we had to resort to posting it on craigslist or going through an agency. So here are the house stats... -size: 1400 sq ft- -3 bed 2 1/2 bath- -2 stories- -cable, water, trash, hoa included- -no/little yard work- -backyard- -near Midwestern University, Glendale community college and University of Phoenix Stadium- -Great landlords (ha ha)- -$925 month- we are asking less than other houses the same size because we would rather get less for exchange for a good renter. So if any of you know someone that is going to or about to go to Midwestern send them our way. Sorry I'm not posting a picture because I am a big chicken and I don't want a pic. on the web. If you or anyone you know is interested please leave a comment.

Nate

The man of the day....Nate Our good friend Nate called us last week telling us he was going through the temple for the first time. Of course Peter and I were ecstatic. Nate lives in Utah but decided to come to the Mesa Temple so some of his good friends could be there with him. Friday night Alicia, Brett, Megan, Warren, Peter, Nate, and me all had the opportunity to go do a session at the Temple. We all get together to go camping every summer but this is the first time we had the opportunity to get dressed in our Sunday best and go to the Temple. After the session we went to Megan & Warren's house for dinner and then a fun slumber party. Of course we all stayed up way too late playing games and laughing. All the girls knew we would have to wake up with our little boys in the morning so we headed off to bed but of course the guys stayed up most the night playing video games and just being guys. Needless to say it was a fun night. Nate we are soooo proud of you. Megan & Warren thanks for hosting a fun night.
